Review:This Dean Koontz novel is in turns poignant, infuriating, frustrating, absolutely interesting, and stupifying.

Bobby and Julie Dakota are a husband and wife detective team who eagerly work their tails off so that they can retire early to a coastal house and enjoy life outside of the rat race. Frank Pollard is a man who has a strange past, a mystifying present, and a terrifying future. They join up to try to figure out what in the world is going on...and discover that "in the world" now has a new meaning. You know that I love Koontz, and this is Koontz at his best. Enjoy!
